Not understanding.

Sometimes I simply don’t know. I can’t explain why I think this image works. It just does. Now, is it a problem? Should I have an explanation ready at hand? Do I need to justify my photographs? I think you know where I’m going with this. The answer for me is no, obviously. Art should have the freedom not to know.

Not to explain, not to prove, to just be what it is. I’m not illustrating an article here. I like to get lost, not to understand, not to pretend to understand. Maybe its just me, but I think I understand less in general, then I do of reality around me. Why exclude that from you art? Let’s not understand more often.
