Daily shooting – madness.

.
Another mad day, covering north, central and south London till midday, and then reversing the order till the evening. The good thing is you get all sorts of moments in front of you – stuck in traffic, without actually seeing it – first shot. Was waiting for the lady to do something to add to the flat glow of all the windows – then she adjusted her earphones, and caught her hair in the cable. Not a big element, but enough of a detail to give it more interest, to disrupt the scene a bit, just enough.

A silent moment, me exhausted, my other half getting upset by our schedule being changed – the composition kind of presented itself to me – the phone lying there, between the shadow and the still bright white napkin, a link to another narrative underlying this silent scene.

The spine was screaming at me from the distance. I was a bit worried – it’s easy to make those things look cheap and overdone – a skeleton, uuu, how scaaary and deep, uuu – looking at it now, it turned out ok – a straightforward approach  (rather flat light helped) seems to worked. More silent madness.
