daily shooting – coming back to an older project

It’s raining, it’s cold, it’s dark as hell. Not the best photographic conditions? On the contrary, my dear Watson. That is, if you are after that particular situation – human breath visualised on windows.

I’m all wet, my camera is wet (luckily 7D can take a fair deal of rain and still continue to make that loud shutter noise), but the images just keep on getting better, so I shoot, standing on the street, blocking the pedestrians, getting bumped into, with my massive lens (70-200) between people’s heads. Pure Friday night fun.

I decided to continue with a project I have done a year ago – link here – but this time do it well, better. Not sure if its going to be part 2, or a continuation. The image above is straight from camera, no crop, no post. I would like to do it like that this time, a year ago I possibly was a bit heavy handed on the postproduction side of things.
