Scratching the surface.

The more unsettling my images become the more satisfied I seem to be. Mind you, I’m not after shocking or brutal content, there is too many of that already, plus I don’t see much value in it. What I want is this silent feeling of change of perception, when you know something just happened in your head but can’t truly put your finger on it. I call it scratching the surface of things. Not very poetic, I know, but kind of works for me.

Had my doubts regarding the first image. It’s a bit too literal, but at the end I found the content interesting enough. Not your usual conversation starter for sure. Food for thoughts.

Scratch, scratch, scratch…
