daily shooting – loose grip

.
Today, I shot on my way to work, as usual. I shot during my lunch break  I walked and shot for 1,5h after work. Over a hundred images – hundred and six to be precise. What is the keeper from today? A shot I took five minutes away from my flat, on my last piece of a journey home, on a little local bus.

I love how the man holds to the yellow, bright line of light, but looks away into the darkness  how his face is going slightly out of focus, while the loose grip is tack sharp, the red ‘Stopping’ over his head, his bored + annoyed + slightly disgusted (?) expression  and of course, the face just on the border of the frame, with empty eyes, being there, but not fully present. CCTV camera behind the gentleman, and my lens in front of him. I dare to say, all comes nicely together forming a dark, slightly surreal scene.
